Newcomer Youth Participatory Action Research

Newcomer Youth Participatory Action Research (NYPAR) project at the Immigrant and Refugee Community of Manitoba (IRCOM) provided the opportunity for me to be part of the Youth on Anti-Racism in Education. It is inspiring to see the passion for this work among young people in the city. I have advocated for continued education and capacity-building among staff in the areas of racism, ableism, biases, and systemic barriers ingrained in the education system.
